Account Manager - Metro Detroit Area

 

Position: Account Manager

Location: Metro Detroit Area, MI


PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:

At Archer Corporate Services (ACS), Account Managers work proactively and collaboratively with our Business Development team to provide our clients with long-term strategic value and exceptional customer service. Account managers will help maintain and build upon the existing account relationships at ACS.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Manage and facilitate the execution of client programs and specifications, ensuring quality program completion.

  • Maintain deep relationships with clients, understand their challenges and needs in order to better enable their success with our tools.

  • Ability to develop and grow a book of business to meeting annual team targets.

  • Influence, delegate, and communicate, in a deadline driven environment, ensuring sound planning, exceptional service, and a solid client relationship.

  • Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of activities carried out on behalf of assigned clients; change plans as necessary to produce results.

  • Meet weekly with business development team to share the status of accounts, troubleshoot any challenges, and incorporate leadership when necessary.

  • Travel as needed throughout the Metro-Detroit area. 

QUALIFICATIONS (EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS) REQUIRED:

  • Self-motivated.

  • Experience developing, cultivating, and closing opportunities with clients.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communications and organizational skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent customer service and client communication skills.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Five + years of related experience.

  • Excellent working knowledge of ERP, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and others as required.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
