Position: Account Manager
Location: Metro Detroit Area, MI
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:
At Archer Corporate Services (ACS), Account Managers work proactively and collaboratively with our Business Development team to provide our clients with long-term strategic value and exceptional customer service. Account managers will help maintain and build upon the existing account relationships at ACS.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
Manage and facilitate the execution of client programs and specifications, ensuring quality program completion.
Maintain deep relationships with clients, understand their challenges and needs in order to better enable their success with our tools.
Ability to develop and grow a book of business to meeting annual team targets.
Influence, delegate, and communicate, in a deadline driven environment, ensuring sound planning, exceptional service, and a solid client relationship.
Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of activities carried out on behalf of assigned clients; change plans as necessary to produce results.
Meet weekly with business development team to share the status of accounts, troubleshoot any challenges, and incorporate leadership when necessary.
Travel as needed throughout the Metro-Detroit area.
QUALIFICATIONS (EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS) REQUIRED:
Self-motivated.
Experience developing, cultivating, and closing opportunities with clients.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Excellent verbal and written communications and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent customer service and client communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Five + years of related experience.
Excellent working knowledge of ERP, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and others as required.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
